<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:11pt;font-family:SimSun;" lang="ZH-CN">我们信</span><span style="font-size:11pt;" lang="ZH-CN"></span><span style="font-size:11pt;font-family:SimSun;" lang="ZH-CN">仰基督，并不是信仰某一宗派的神学，如果以某一宗派的神学作为判断异端的标准，未免失之公允，这是有历史教训的。基督新教有上千个派别，如果互判异端成</span><span style="font-size:11pt;" lang="ZH-CN"> </span><span style="font-size:11pt;font-family:SimSun;" lang="ZH-CN">风，是神所不愿看到的，也是非常可悲的。我们认为，《圣经》和《使徒信经》、《尼西亚信经》是公认的标准。凡自称信仰基督、自称是基督教的派别，而又不符</span><span style="font-size:11pt;" lang="ZH-CN"> </span><span style="font-size:11pt;font-family:SimSun;" lang="ZH-CN">圣经和两个信经的，就是异端。例如摩门教在圣经之外，又信摩门经，所以它是异端。</span><span style="font-size:11pt;"></span><strong><span style="font-size:11pt;font-family:SimSun;" lang="ZH-CN"><br><br>二、教内各传统宗派间的神学分歧，不应互判异端。</span></strong><span style="font-size:11pt;"></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:11pt;font-family:SimSun;" lang="ZH-CN">如果基督新教各传统宗派在神学上没有任何分歧，也就不会产生宗派。因此，神学上的分歧已经并将长期存在，这一点是有历史经验的。异端的帽子不可乱扣，必要慎重。要分清</span><span style="font-size:11pt;">“</span><span style="font-size:11pt;font-family:SimSun;" lang="ZH-CN">极端</span><span style="font-size:11pt;">”</span><span style="font-size:11pt;font-family:SimSun;" lang="ZH-CN">和</span><span style="font-size:11pt;">“</span><span style="font-size:11pt;font-family:SimSun;" lang="ZH-CN">异端</span><span style="font-size:11pt;">”</span><span style="font-size:11pt;font-family:SimSun;" lang="ZH-CN">的区别。</span><span style="font-size:11pt;"><br><br></span><strong><span style="font-size:11pt;font-family:SimSun;" lang="ZH-CN">三、我们基督徒的主要工作之一是劝人归向主</span></strong><span style="font-size:11pt;font-family:SimSun;" lang="ZH-CN">。圣经说：因信称义。但福传工作中必然运用各自的神学观点来论证和解释，这是十分自然的。如果相互拆台就会影响福传大局。</span><span style="font-size:11pt;"><br><br></span><strong><span style="font-size:11pt;font-family:SimSun;" lang="ZH-CN">四、神学范畴</span></strong><span style="font-size:11pt;font-family:SimSun;" lang="ZH-CN">中</span><span style="font-size:11pt;" lang="ZH-CN"> </span><span style="font-size:11pt;font-family:SimSun;" lang="ZH-CN">有：上帝论、基督论、圣灵论、三一论、恩典观及人论、赎罪论、拯救论、教会论、圣礼论、末世论等等等等许多分类子目。亚米纽斯主义与加尔文主义在恩典观及</span><span style="font-size:11pt;" lang="ZH-CN"> </span><span style="font-size:11pt;font-family:SimSun;" lang="ZH-CN">人论方面的神学分歧由来已久，为众人所知。并且亚米纽斯主义已为卫斯理宗及圣公会、浸礼宗的某些派别所使用，并不能因此就说卫理宗及圣公会、浸礼宗的这些</span><span style="font-size:11pt;" lang="ZH-CN"> </span><span style="font-size:11pt;font-family:SimSun;" lang="ZH-CN">派别为异端。我们知道，路德宗与加尔文宗在圣礼论等方面有着很大的分歧，那么这两个谁是</span><span style="font-size:11pt;">“</span><span style="font-size:11pt;font-family:SimSun;" lang="ZH-CN">异端</span><span style="font-size:11pt;">”</span><span style="font-size:11pt;font-family:SimSun;" lang="ZH-CN">呢？</span><span style="font-size:11pt;"><br><br></span><strong><span style="font-size:11pt;font-family:SimSun;" lang="ZH-CN">五、亚米纽斯神学不是自由派神学。</span></strong><span style="font-size:11pt;"></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:11pt;font-family:SimSun;" lang="ZH-CN">亚米纽</span><span style="font-size:11pt;" lang="ZH-CN"> </span><span style="font-size:11pt;font-family:SimSun;" lang="ZH-CN">斯神学思想广为流传，并被广泛应用。既有卫理宗等福音派，也有某些自由派。但亚米纽斯神学为自由派神学所应用，并不能就此说明亚米纽斯主义是自由派，更不</span><span style="font-size:11pt;" lang="ZH-CN"> </span><span style="font-size:11pt;font-family:SimSun;" lang="ZH-CN">能就此说它是异端。因为构成自由派神学的因素有很多种。有些自由派也是信三位一体说的。我们能就此断定，倡导三位一体说的属于自由派神学吗？</span><span style="font-size:11pt;"><br><br></span><strong><span style="font-size:11pt;font-family:SimSun;" lang="ZH-CN">六、</span></strong><strong><span style="font-size:11pt;">“</span></strong><strong><span style="font-size:11pt;font-family:SimSun;" lang="ZH-CN">神人合作说</span></strong><strong><span style="font-size:11pt;">”</span></strong><strong><span style="font-size:11pt;font-family:SimSun;" lang="ZH-CN">并非人本主义。</span></strong><span style="font-size:11pt;"></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:11pt;font-family:SimSun;" lang="ZH-CN">一些极</span><span style="font-size:11pt;" lang="ZH-CN"> </span><span style="font-size:11pt;font-family:SimSun;" lang="ZH-CN">端加尔文主义者诬陷</span><span style="font-size:11pt;">“</span><span style="font-size:11pt;font-family:SimSun;" lang="ZH-CN">神人合作说</span><span style="font-size:11pt;">”</span><span style="font-size:11pt;font-family:SimSun;" lang="ZH-CN">是</span><span style="font-size:11pt;">“</span><span style="font-size:11pt;font-family:SimSun;" lang="ZH-CN">以人为中心的人本主义。</span><span style="font-size:11pt;">”</span><span style="font-size:11pt;font-family:SimSun;" lang="ZH-CN">其实他们连什么是真正的人本主义也不明白。神人合作说主要讲人的自由意志如果选择犯罪就不</span><span style="font-size:11pt;" lang="ZH-CN"> </span><span style="font-size:11pt;font-family:SimSun;" lang="ZH-CN">能得救。人虽有选择权，但最终判决权在神的手中，所以神仍然是中心，仍然是本。如果真是以人为中心的话，哪里还有神的位置？自然神论的一些人才有此观点。</span><span style="font-size:11pt;" lang="ZH-CN"> </span><span style="font-size:11pt;font-family:SimSun;" lang="ZH-CN">所以亚米纽斯神学根本不赞成人本主义。</span><span style="font-size:11pt;"><br><br></span><strong><span style="font-size:11pt;font-family:SimSun;" lang="ZH-CN">七、多特会议的不公平性导致判决的不公正。</span></strong><span style="font-size:11pt;"></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:11pt;font-family:SimSun;" lang="ZH-CN">多特会议一开始就被加尔文主义者把持。大会主席波格门（</span><span style="font-size:11pt;">John Bogerman</span><span style="font-size:11pt;font-family:SimSun;" lang="ZH-CN">）</span><span style="font-size:11pt;" lang="ZH-CN"> </span><span style="font-size:11pt;font-family:SimSun;" lang="ZH-CN">是一个著名的极端分子（这人在他的著作中表明要杀掉所有</span><span style="font-size:11pt;">“</span><span style="font-size:11pt;font-family:SimSun;" lang="ZH-CN">异端</span><span style="font-size:11pt;">”</span><span style="font-size:11pt;font-family:SimSun;" lang="ZH-CN">）。而当时在荷兰当政的摩里斯亲王也是极端加尔文主义者。他们相互勾结成</span><span style="font-size:11pt;">“</span><span style="font-size:11pt;font-family:SimSun;" lang="ZH-CN">政教合一</span><span style="font-size:11pt;">”</span><span style="font-size:11pt;font-family:SimSun;" lang="ZH-CN">的恐</span><span style="font-size:11pt;" lang="ZH-CN"> </span><span style="font-size:11pt;font-family:SimSun;" lang="ZH-CN">怖机制来控制多特会议，所以神学辩论会就变成一边倒的审判会。无论亚米纽斯派如何反复说明其理由，仍然不能逃脱被判为</span><span style="font-size:11pt;">“</span><span style="font-size:11pt;font-family:SimSun;" lang="ZH-CN">异端</span><span style="font-size:11pt;">”</span><span style="font-size:11pt;font-family:SimSun;" lang="ZH-CN">的结果。</span><span style="font-size:11pt;"> 1619</span><span style="font-size:11pt;font-family:SimSun;" lang="ZH-CN">年，大批的抗辩派人士遭到罢免、监禁、流放和杀头的迫害。如此黑暗的审判，激起荷兰社会各界的极大不满。所以当摩里斯亲王去世后，亚米纽斯派人士随即获得平反，他们回到了自己的家园，继续坚持亚米纽斯神学思想，直到它被大众接受，最终进入了英国和北美新教生活的主流。</span><span style="font-size:11pt;"><br><br></span><span style="font-size:11pt;font-family:SimSun;" lang="ZH-CN">综上所述，亚米纽斯神学理论只是在恩典观及人论上与加尔文主义区别。它是赞成乐观的恩典观，反对绝对预定论</span><span style="font-size:11pt;">(</span><span style="font-size:11pt;font-family:SimSun;" lang="ZH-CN">堕落前双重预定说）。因此，非但不构成异端，并且是一个极为重要的神学派别。</span><span style="font-size:11pt;"></span></p>]]></description>

Haynes</strong> <br><em>UMR Columnist <br></em><br><span style="FONT-STYLE:italic;COLOR:rgb(0,0,255);">(Emphasis in bold text added)</span><br><br>We <strong>Methodists are </strong><strong>Arminian</strong>, <strong>not Calvinist or Pelagian</strong>.&nbsp;<br><br>Methodism <strong>rejects the Reformed theology of Swiss reformer John Calvin</strong>, whose concept of God’s total sovereignty is summed up with the acronym TULIP: total depravity, unconditional election, limited atonement, irresistible grace and perseverance of the saints.&nbsp;<br><br><strong>We believe instead that depravity never makes us beyond the reach of God’s grace, that “election” is conditional upon our free will, that Jesus’ atonement is unlimited, that we can resist God’s love and that we can backslide.&nbsp;</strong><br><br>While at Oxford in 1725, Wesley questioned Calvinism in a letter to his mother: “What shall I say then of predestination? Is it merciful to ordain a creature to everlasting misery?”&nbsp;<br><br>Susanna responded that the doctrine was “very shocking” because it “directly charges the Most High God with being the<strong> author of sin</strong>.”&nbsp;She added: “I think you reason well and justly against it; it is certainly <strong>inconsistent with the justice and goodness of God to lay any man under either a physical or moral necessity of committing sin, and then to punish him for doing it</strong>.”&nbsp;<br><br>Wesley went on to become history’s most avid advocate of Arminianism.&nbsp;<br><br>James Arminius taught that God permits evil through God’s gift of human liberty, but does not ordain it. Armimius and Wesley insisted that salvation begins with the universal gracious gift of a loving God—prevenient grace.&nbsp;<br><br>God’s grace convicts us of our sin, calling us to repentance and saving grace. From the moment we repent and accept God’s gracious salvation through faith, we grow in grace—perfecting grace. But this grace is resistable at every point: We can always say “no” to God.&nbsp;<br><br>On the other hand, Pelagius, a contemporary of Augustine, believed that human will, not God’s grace, initiates salvation. Pelagius denied original sin and elevated humankind to possessing natural moral ability: having “free will” to choose right or wrong. His teachings were condemned in 431 A.D. by the third Ecumenical Council because they affirmed human ability to do God’s will apart from the prevenience of divine grace.&nbsp;<br><br>Wesley was repeatedly accused of being Pelagian.<strong> The distinction was that for Pelagius, human free will is inherent; for Wesley, human free will is a gift of God’s grace.</strong> Consequently, we are not saved by our faith; we are saved by God’s grace through our responsive faith!&nbsp;<br><br>Scriptural insights can be seen in the parable of the Prodigal Son who “came to himself.” Somewhere in his psyche he knew himself to be a son, not the degenerated human keeper of a pigsty!&nbsp;<br><br>Wesley considered conscience as one dimension of this prevenient grace. As Paul writes in Romans 2: “Do you despise the riches of his kindness and forbearance and patience? Do you not realize that God’s kindness is meant to lead you to repentance?” Methodism does not see God’s essential nature as wrath, but love.&nbsp;<br><br>I am saddened today when I see the term “grace” appearing in book after book without the author even knowing that the shaper of grace theology was John Wesley! The challenge of United Methodism is to re-dig our old wells. We are children of God, corroded and corrupted by a culture of sin.&nbsp;<br><br>We have an unprecedented number of superb books today by United Methodists and other Wesleyan scholars—Randy Maddox, Kenneth Collins, Charles Yrigoyen, Roger Olsen, Ted Campbell, Bishop Scott Jones, William Abraham and Andy Langford, to mention a few.&nbsp;<br><br>We have the Works of John Wesley, begun by Albert Outler and continued by Richard Heitzenrater, Reginald Ward and Jean Schmidt.&nbsp;<br><br>We have recent books (some out of print) by Robert Cushman, Colin Williams, Mildred Bangs Wynkoop and Thomas A. Langford. We have superb historical work done by Richard Heitzenrater, Russell Richey, Kenneth Rowe, Robert Chiles, Peter Murray and David Hempton.&nbsp;<br><br>Perhaps we need a reprint of Bishop Edwin Mouzon’s <em>Fundamentals of Methodism</em> (1923).&nbsp;<br><br>This is the core of our new “Methodist Library.” Pastors might have to get the word out as our circuit riders once did!&nbsp;<br><br>Every local church should have an annual seminar on the doctrine, history or discipline of our Wesleyan heritage.
