早安, 台灣!

British are famous for their weather conversation on every meet. It's an unavoidable topic especially between people who don't know each other so well. But why is it weather but not something else? According to my observation, it's the changing and diverse weather within one day. It's changing all the time. They are hardly the same in the morning and afternoon. There could be a sudden shift when the conversation goes on. And it's not so private. It's said British are aware of personal space all the time. It is deemed inappropriate, offensive to talk privcy. The definition of that privacy, i think, depends on cultures. However, i hardly feel this in Scotland. Maybe the explaination to it is i am facing Scottish, the friendly and lovely people. With the understanding of the weather talk, still, sometimes i feel it annoying. It's annoying when they have this repeated complaints in the dark or rainny days and they never alter the terms to describe those bad days. There is eventually going to be a sunny day coming, so why are you complaining all this lot?

Since when, i start to talk about weather as well, unconcisouly. First, it's like some kind of insertion adding up two more sentences in the mails. Talking about the weather does not really matter but it does no harm either, so why not? But now, it might have come to be a concious move to me. I guess it's important to know what the weather is in another city, so to get the clue how the city is treating my friend there, so to determine whether to visit the city or not.
