This summer vacation, Shane students can take a trip back in time and around the world to find out about history and cultures from around the world.  By looking back in time we can experience what life was like in the past and appreciate the creativity and achievements of our ancestors.

Find out what the Romans gave us – they invented many things that we use today, from newspapers to socks…even the names of the days of the week!  Enjoy a drink of Aztec chocolate and make sweet music with your own South American pan-pipes and understand what life was like for children in England during the Second World War.  You will be able to practice taking photographs after making your own pin-hole cameras, which were invented in the Middle East .  Discover how people sailed from Taiwan 5,000 years ago to become the first inhabitants of the Pacific islands, and build the boats that they sailed there in.  Become a Celtic soldier or a Roman legionnaire and make your own Egyptian mummy.

Have fun learning about life in the past around the world at Shane English schools this summer.
