這是一場水準以上的講習會,很難相信是由志同道合的<業餘人士>於極短時間內完成,有專業的架勢,前景大有可為,參加人數約80人,超出陳宏嘉預估的50位.

現代尺八與幾百年前尺八,在要求上有許多差異處,現代尺八要求吹奏出的每一個音符都必需能夠在五線譜上找到"它"的位置,也儘可能要求每一個音符的絕對音準,特別是當你吹出"不三不四"的奇怪音高時,調音器就可以派上用場.當然,為了某些特殊的音色要求,尺八的少數音高,有些確實不是位在調音器的正中央,日本有人把許許多多的古曲以五線譜畫出,用它來吹古曲確實有相當難度,但經過適當的解說之後,還是可以吹奏出正確的古曲味道,就像,光是看古譜,沒有老師的解說,也是很難懂得如何正確演繹.

很多人吹尺八,都會落入<大概><選擇性失憶症>的<迷思>.也不能叫迷思,因為迷思有一點是推卸責任的味道.這種狀況最常發生在半音部份,因為半音的難度,很多人會下意識選擇含混帶過,久了,會以為自己吹的是正確的半音階.藤原道山有一次在<目白>舉辦一場叫 <仰吹俯吹>其實也就是半音 的講座,推出不到幾天,立即額滿,開講前幾個星期,打電話向目白報名,才被告知上述狀況,由此可見,半音的問題困擾許許多多吹尺八的朋友,知道自己的半音有問題,必需下定決心苦練,選擇視若無睹,視而不見,可能會讓你尺八的學習道路,充滿變數.幾年,甚至幾十年下來,還是在最基本的地方打轉,殊為可惜.

吹尺八時,要抱持自己是吹給聽的懂的專家聽,不要抱著<<路人,觀眾,聽眾都聽不懂>>的矇騙過關的心態,如此,每天的進步才有希望.  就算台下100個人,只有一個人聽的懂你吹的是什麼東西,也要認真的為這個人演奏.

有些半音,要每一次都能完美吹出,必需經年累月的苦練, 直到<你的大腦>與<你的手指>,與<你的頭部俯仰角度>,<你的出氣的強度>.....等等要素合而為一,才有可能幾近完美的吹奏出你要的音準音高.有些人,半音10個有9個不準,一吹好幾年,未見改進,只見手指靈活了, 氣息控制更好了,但最基本的音高音準卻當成沒看見,這種吹法,有點像是自欺欺人,欺騙別人, 卻會害到自己. 這種問題在鍵盤樂器,問題很少,在吹管樂器,特別是尺八,狀況最多,想要學好它,這點要特別注意.

認識半音音階,對使用5孔尺八要吹奏出12個音,難度上確實相當高,一支好的尺八,可以完整的吹出3度音,一支普通的尺八,大概可以吹出2度音再多一點,高音部份偶而可以零零落落吹出幾個高音,當然,價格是很重要的一個音素.製管師花多少時間去讓自己的尺八可以輕鬆的吹出三度音,與時間成正比,運氣當然也佔一小部份.

靠運氣做尺八,會讓自己的尺八品質起伏很大,讓購買者無所適從,也讓使用者喪失信心,讓潛在的買家卻步.靠運氣吹半音,會讓自己走入死胡同,欺騙花時間聽你演奏的人,也讓聽的懂的人無所適從.

在日本賣尺八,當你訂作一支尺八,有些製管師會讓你選2支竹材,同時做2支,讓你從兩支尺八中,挑出你要的.還有另一種,做一支6-12個月,不喜歡這一支,再等6-12個月.後者的尺八大概都是知名度,品質很高的,售價昂貴,要買尺八,要配合製管師,急也沒用.這種製管師的尺八,靠的絕不是運氣,靠的是經年累月辛苦磨出來,讓人放心的口碑.被退貨的機會自然微乎其微.好處是,不會讓你費心的從一堆尺八中去挑出最好的一把.壞處是,不用挑,也沒的挑. 試著想想,當聽眾的<目標>是希望聽你吹出正確的半音,那還真是麻煩啊.!!

在低音部(也就是第1度音)的半音階,指法上"循序漸進",吹奏上並不困難,但在2-3度音,則必須利用到許多的替代指法,而這些替代指法則屬於"無跡可尋","強記"是唯一方式,而且幾個高音部的半音,指法表上的按孔方式也不盡然相同,許多尺八甚至無法吹出指法表上的音.

所以在<海山 John NepTune>的指法表上,明白的告訴你,中高音部,尺八不同,指法也可能有異,有時必需自己嘗試找到最佳的指法,這點,確實是正確的.

The kari technique raises the pitch, while the meri technique lowers the pitch. Q：什麼是「半音音階」(Chromatic)？

A：
「奇想曲」，又稱為「隨想曲」，
Do-Re-Mi-Fa-So-La-Si這七個音，
一般稱為「自然音」。
但如果把它們分成12個音，
就是鋼琴琴鍵上七個白鍵與五個黑鍵的組合，
因為這12個音之間彼此相差半個音，
因此被稱為「半音音階」。

我們今天聽到的音樂，
絕大部分是由這12個音所寫成的，
而音樂之父巴哈則是最早重視、並擅長「半音音階」的作曲家，
他不僅寫下了「半音階幻想曲與賦格」，
還有系統地以「半音音階」寫下一部不同調性組合的樂曲，
為後代音樂創作立下了典範，

半音階的使用，讓音樂的變化無窮。圖為鋼琴黑白鍵，當中的"1/2"表示相隔一個半音，"1"表示相 隔一個全音。

這部就是「平均律」鍵盤作品集。

「半音音階」具有容易被演奏的特質，
也是音樂創作中最基本的邏輯，
無論是古典或流行音樂，
「半音音階」永遠是不變的規則。

基本上這是一個老舊的主題,尺八的吹口相較於洞簫的U,V吹口,顯的脆弱許多,使用吹口保護套是一種必要的常識,大部份的尺八朋友都會使用,從網路上陸續看過不同的設計,大都能達到保護的作用.
