(At the front door ...)
David: Trick or treat, smelly feet, give me something good to eat!!!
Charlene: Oh my, what a scary monster you are!
David: That's right! I'm Godzilla .... Raarrrhhh!
Charlene: Ha ha! Ok, Godzilla, have some candy!
David: So, be honest ... am I the scariest monster that's knocked on your door tonight?
Charlene: Hmm ... it's difficult to say. There have been lots of great costumes tonight that have really knocked my socks off.
David: But they were probably just cute or funny costumes like bunny rabbits or Batman.
Charlene: Yes, but there have also been very scary ones as well ... ghosts, vampires, mummies, werewolves ... You name it, they've paid me a visit tonight. Hope that doesn't burst your bubble or anything.
David: No, it's just good to know that there are lots of people out strutting their stuff in elaborate costumes. Because that's what Halloween is really all about, isn't it?
Charlene: That and decorating your house. As you surely have noticed, my house is all decked out with cardboard skeletons and witches, fake spiders and spider webs and a jack-o-lantern out front.
