To dream the impossible dream, to fight the unbeatable foe, to bear with unbearable sorrow, to run where the brave dare not go.
To right the unrightable wrong, to love pure and chaste from afar, to try when your arms are too weary, to reach the unreachable star!
This is my quest, to follow that star, no matter how hopeless, no matter how far-- To fight for the right, without question or pause, to be willing to march into hell for a heavenly cause!
And I know if I'll only be true, to this glorious quest, that my heart will be peaceful and calm, when I'm laid to my rest.
And the world will be better for this, that one man, scorned and covered with scars, still strove with his last ounce of courage, to reach the unreachable stars!
見果てぬ夢
夢は稔り難く （ゆめはみのりがたく），敵は数多なりとも （てきはあまたなりとも），胸に悲しみを秘めて （むねにかなしみをひめて），我は勇みて行かん （われはいさみてゆかん）。道は極め難く （みちはきわめがたく），腕は疲れ果つとも （うではつかれはつとも），遠き星をめざして （とおきほしをめざして），我は歩み続けん （われはあゆみつづけん）。これこそ，我が宿命 （これこそ わがさだめ），汚れ果てし，この世から（けがれはてし　このよから），正しきを，救うために （ただしきを すくうために），如何に望み薄く 遥かなりとも （いかにのぞみうすくはるかなりとも）。やがて いつの日にか，光満ちて （やがていつのひにか ひかりみちて），永遠の眠りに就くその時まで（とわのねむりにつく そのときまで）。たとえ傷つくとも （たとえきずつくとも），力ふり絞りて （ちからふりしぼりて），我は歩み続けん （われはあゆみつづけん），あの星の許へ （あのほしのもとへ）！
