GLOBAL CHANGE

 

Our old planet has been suffering

From so many problems

A few are local but most global

Many are man-made while some natural

 

Pollution started with industrialization

Poisonous chemicals released by cars and factories

Not only kill living creatures

In the oceans, lakes or rivers

But also mix with water in the clouds

Result = Acid rains = Deforestation

Which causes landslides and erosion.

 

The world temperature is increasing

This is the signal the Earth is giving

What we call is “Global Warming”

Due to that ice caps are melting

And climates are severely changing.

 

Another serious problem is overpopulation

That brings about unemployment

And unplanned urbanization

The last but not least is some species extinction

Unless we take necessary precaution

We will face a more disastrous situation.

 

Use wind and solar power

To make the global change slower

Don’t waste natural resources

Appreciate every single endeavour

Aiming at preventing environmental disaster.

 

 

Join an environmental organization

Challenge and take action

Hold a demonstration or make donation

We need urgent cooperation and collaboration

To survive the next generation…
