it is common to say see you when someone is leaving. it is also polite to do so. however, my son is having this problem to say "See you tomorrow" everytime i left for work in the afternoon. i guess, he has been used to not seeing me coming back on the same day but the next day when hewakes up. i had taught him numerous time that i will come back tonight (on the same day), it's just we may not see each other coz he will then turned in. How i wish he could change this saying asap. Or rather, i could minimise such scenario as much as ican.
