After playing the game for more than a year, I decided to make a costume for one of my character in world of warcarft and joined the Halloween parade in NY.

Because,
1. I just quit my job and got nothing to do
2. I always wanted to dress up for Halloween parade so I don't have to be in the crowd to watch it in distance
3. It seems to be fun and challenge

I chose my warlock over mage and priest for 4 reasons,
1. she got the whole tier 0.5 set
2. I like the dress, its pretty
3. I can my face covered by the hat so if I bumped into friends in the parade, they won't think thats me and I am out of my mind.
4. I got a friend want to join me and be my pet - succubus, haha...

Spent a whole day shopping materials. (Every store was full of CRAZY New Yorkers who are getting Halloween costumes!! and after half hour to get in the store, 1 hour to find things I need, and half hour in the line to pay, I swear to god that the Halloween parade thing will be once a life time thing, and I'd never do it again. Then we went to several different stores for other stuff......)

Luckily I found a purple witch dress in the costume stores that I can work from it.
And I got few fibers and several different sizes skulls, cardboard, paper tubes.

First piece I finished is the shoulders, cut off the skulls and thrilled some holes for sewing.
They weren't too hard but time consuming. Very heavy though, I have to think a way to put them on the cloth.

Then, the skirt took more time - it has ten pieces and every one has the golden border that took forever. I didn't have sewing machine and I use a lot of pins to save time.

After the shoulders, shirt, head piece, bracers (I should make it shorter, haha, I can't bend my elbows after trying on them - first mistake) and belt, it is pretty close to my plan.

The only thing left is the skull patterns on the skirt, I drawed one on it and, I became lazy and didn't finish it. Its a long day already.

Staff came out better than I thought. It did look awesome and it is much better than the one they sold in the costume store for 50 bucks, which cost me 8 bucks.

Well, I don't have any pictures in the parade; the picture was took after the parade.
In the parade some ppl who play wow recognize us - warlock and succubus!!!!

Its pretty close to my ton, right? I really hope that I have the skeleton look and red eyes though - gotta have perfectly evil look. There was a 5 year old girl saw me and yelled " hey mom, look~~ a princess!!!!!!!!!! mm....in the dark side."

Thanks for my succubus, she put in lot efforts for my stupid/crazy idea too.
I don't think I have the guts to do it all by myself.
